Symbiosis

It often feels like Earth is special. I mean I’ve heard of these Goldilocks planets, where we could possibly thrive, but that sure seems like a lot of work compared to taking care of the planet that can already support life. I’m not trying to be lazy here.

I would love to go to space, but my stuff is already here along with a few friends and an amazing family, so… I kinda want to stay if we can. That probably means trying to take better care of Mother Earth. We have to dream big, if we are going to turn this tsunami of a tide.

I think that most of nature has a way of working together, forming symbiotic relationships, so that both species can survive. Well, we should probably figure that out too. I really feel like this is a tipping point in history. I’m old enough to remember a world without the internet. I’m not so old that I can’t either. It’s been an interesting journey with a lot of ups, and a few eeewwwws.

Having watched the internet grow into what it is today, it’s pretty obvious that we are on the cusp of another cultural transformation. Artificial Intelligence has already begun to permeate our lives, much in the same way that the internet and cell phone have.

So buckle up, hug your mother and let’s do our best to help the machines respect our planet even though we never really pulled that off ourselves.
