Artificially Artful

We’re the sort that tend to turn into the skid, rather than huddle in fear of change. We embrace our new robot overlords and hope for a smooth transition into the singularity.

In the same spirit, we thought we would start a new blog thread and show off some of our amazing creations (#ArtificiallyArtful).

So we just got our invite to join the magical world of artificially intelligent art, via DALL-E.

So without further adieu, here’s the first phrase we fed our digital artists and the results:

It’s a bit of a quandary isn’t it?

Art was always one of those things that made us human… One of those unique traits that set us apart from the machine and most of the animals. It’s been a long journey, but it seems like we are starting to bridge the gap. That might worry a lot of people, and maybe for good reason.

Seems that when we do create AI, it doesn’t like humans much. Or worse yet, it’s just a reflection and it shows us a mirror we don’t really want to see. Regardless, it’s likely a wave that can’t be stopped and it’s better to surf that get crushed by it.

Pay attention if you have it and this time, you just might find some of our AI art hidden in our games.
